I for one have always thought that Mitt is a smart guy. Were he not, he would not be where he is today.

He was the son of the Governor of Michigan/ president of American Motors Corporation. That's like starting life on 3rd base and bragging that you crossed home plate.

Good point; never underestimate the power of connections. I guess I was giving Willard credit for Wall Street success, which may have been due to his 3rd base start in life.

Kind of like saying Chelsea Clinton is smart since she managed to live in a 10 million dollar Manhattan apartment at an early age.
