How come President Trump sends DOJ lawyers into court to block EVERY Freedom of Information Act document request by Conservative organizations?

I believe President Trump’s intention all along has been to let the Left do their worst while he bravely goes about the business of making America great again.
He knows the American people are witnessing the ugliness of the Left’s relentless attempt at political assassination and the blatantly dishonest coverage by the media.
He knows the American people see these bullshit “investigations” for what they really are: the unconstitutional weaponization of government institutions for political purposes.
He knows that the Democrats will pay dearly for it, because politics is meant to be decided by the voters in elections, not by political witch hunts. The people will punish the Democrats for this.
He knows that even though he is innocent and they are guilty, it would be a huge mistake for him to do what his enemies have done - weaponize his executive powers to engage in counter investigations - it’s better to keep his hands clean, tough it out, and let the American people mete out the sentence in 2020.
He knows that if he focuses on keeping his campaign promises, and putting America first, the American people will rise to his defense by re-electing him in 2020.
I believe that is why he has continually instructed his people to stand down - he wants it left up to the voters, the way it should have been all along.
