Polls just closed in Atlantic Canada. Post results here.
(Excerpt) Read more at cbc.ca ...
They got 24 out of the gate in the Maritimes. Tough to beat it when they won like 95% of the seats there.
Conservatives will still win plurality, but their districts are less efficient meaning that where they win, they win big, if their voters were more spread out they would get more seats.
Hello Canada! Ready for gridlock?
Alberta and Saskatchewan need to get out now.
No party gets a majority of seats. Conservatives could still get a plurality of the vote, will be very close.
Thats clear and the Tories are well positioned for the next election.
When will the next election be?
Conservatives take the lead in the popular vote!!!
In four years assuming the Liberal government survives that long.
In a first past the post system, a popular vote majority isnt always decisive.
For Alberta, Sask and Manitoba, secession must be on the table.... expect the new minority gov’t to flood rural communities in these provinces with refugees and other third-world parasites.
That’s their plan, to flood us with turds.
The Liberal efficiency is obscene.
Liberal plus NDP coalition government is where this will end, despite Conservatives winning the plurality.
The Liberals will have 156 or 157 seats. Will they link-up with the Bloc Québécois or with the NDP?
Boy you are sure an optimist. Im worried the left will unite before the next election and then it is game over. The Liberals ate the NDP vote
Looks to me like cons and bloc outnumber them.
That’s why Alberta and Saskatchewan need to start Westcanexit right now.
Conservatives take the lead in popular vote!!!
Yes, the percentage is 33.9% as against 33.8%. for the Conservatives. So almost exactly counting the other parties, 7 out of ten Canadians voted against him and his party. Still the popular vote does not necessarily win in a parliamentary election.
Complicated stuff ahead when the parliament opens. I can almost hear the house speaker rasp in his delivery- "ORDERR. ORDERR"
Its the same situation as in the USA where liberals are spreading into suburban areas.
