I don’t think it’s just the ones along the border. If a cartel buys off a Congerscritter from some non-border state, their vote counts the same and there is less suspicion of them, too. They all potentially benefit from increased power and they are all potentially on the take.

The idea that a nation of 120 million people with whom the United States shares a 2,000-mile border and ever-increasing economic ties might spiral into collapse has not seriously occurred to the American people. We’ve had a century of relative peace on our southwest border, and aside from dealing with an occasional surge of illegal immigration, we have assumed that it will continue. It will not. I have been saying Mexico is in a state similar to that of the 1900 revolution for years.
It is already a state of warring warlords.

One thing is for certain after watching the video. Americans need bigger guns. Not just tiny little AR’s and what not. Get something BIG and put the best glass you can afford on it, take it out and get to work.

Messy-co is a cesspool, always has been. I remember going down South of the border shopping for vanilla, beer, cheap silver rings and so forth....ya always got that uneasy feeling.
We stayed in groups. Never had any issues as far as violence, but that said, it was common knowledge when going into border towns...don't split up. Stay together.

Yet another example of the fact that there is not a single spanish-speaking country on the planet that is not essentially a sh1thole. I thank God that Texas separated itself from mexico.

A wall is only as good as the will to defend its integrity. We need all three. A wall, the will and integrity.
Who was the retired military officer who proposed a DMZ between the US and Mexico, on Mexican soil? He was entirely correct? Great plan IMO.

And it is all funded by the drug addicts of the U.S.of A.And the reason addicts and other users are funding cartels rather than legitimate businesses is that our drug laws give cartels a monopoly in that market.
