A friend from years ago used to to Nebraska for pheasant every year.
Right after the first Gulf War Norman Swartzkoff was hunting the same area when the guide service stopped at my friend’s camp awaiting instruction on where to bring the General his lunch.
The guide took the cover off the food and told my friend and his buddy to take a spoonful each. “Now you can say the General ate your leftovers”.
