I saw a short clip of Pelosi re the Doral issue. She was almost blue in the face yelling that Trump was “not going to be allowed to hold the G7 at his facility. She would withhold any funding.”
I think it was a mistake for the Trump team and Mulvaney to even consider this and bring it up to the rabid press.
Mulvaney also did muddy the waters with his statement re withholding funds. He talks a mile a minute and just did not explain this clearly. It was easy to twist his statements into something else.
I just watched an exchange between Maria and goober over on FNC. Maria is getting really good at asking the truly tough questions. She asked Graham why we were still dissing our allies the kurds who had lost 11,000 defending the region while we fought alongside and also lost thousands of troops.
Graham apparently has figured out what is going on in the region after talking with Trump over the weekend. Undoubtedly, potus told him the kurds that are helping the deep state,(even thought graham is deep state)are not helping the US and Turkey will be getting rid of the bad guys for us as they clean out the area for a takeover.
The region is so complex neither Maria nor Graham told the entire story. It's tough to do in mere minutes on live TV.There was no mention of Erdogan wanting to move three million of his loser illegals into the region or the huge buffer zone he wants.Just one point in the complexilty of the region which is unwinnable for us.
Trump has to have figured it out as well. He is however taking charge of the oil production in the region and will let the good kurds have their share of the revenue and we will finally get some monetary rewards for losing blood and treasure in the region for decades.
the mid east remains an area to look at from afar but stay the hell out of there as much as possible.
