Just to be clear on my part, am not dissing Inspector General Horowitz, Durham, etc. and all participants who have working in the deep weeds, and doing their best to dig out the deep roots of corruption. If I had been working with Horowitz on this review, and had to write up all of those darn work papers re the interviews and analysis, by now I’d probably would have just about lost my sanity and found a way to retire early.
Sometimes, but not always, all the work you do as an auditor gathering evidence and the findings you have regarding the AUDIT OBJECTIVE ends up with a deep and heavy THUD. A SO WHAT?
The motto of a IG auditor in the agency I used ito work for, was to “expose fraud, waste, and abuse of taxpayer funds, and or improve the management of contractor operated facilities”
Horowitz has a whole other ball game on his plate. Sending prayers to him and his staff."
