P.S. I was reading a story three weeks ago featuring a UAW shop steward who was lamenting the abandonment of the working class by the Democrats—but somehow this guy still believed that Democrats had the better message. I felt sorry for him—because he is living in the past. The Democrats left the Working Class after The Groper-in-Chief left the White House.
Way before then. It happened when LBJ decided that the future of the Democrat Party was racial identity politics.
