It takes a long time for perception to catch up with reality. While Americans are not “unsteady, adrift, corrupt, or incompetent” we have now seen that our swamp denizens and tentacles thereof around the country are. The entire system went into fibrillations when we elected, over their every effot, a President who is none of these things.

"I guess he forgot the Clinton and 0bama years." You could probably add in this person as well. Had the war in Vietnam been fought to be won (instead of for lining the pockets of LBJ's and other Democrats' business interests), many Vietnamese and even Cambodian lives would have been spared.
