A video released by a senior police officer to mark International Pronouns Day has come under fire from social media users.
Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke, from Cheshire Police, released the 29 second video on Twitter underlining why she was backing the campaign.
Having started in the USA, International Pronouns Day aims to encourage people to use the correct terminology when talking to those who are transgender or gender nonconforming.
But social media users have encouraged the senior officer to concentrate on policing the county.
Mandy: "Heres a Mad far left wacky Idea, Why not Identify as a Police force? Lets start with that. Do what hard working people pay you to do, prevent and solve Crimes, real crimes."
One Twitter user named Paul, said: "Im glad all the actual crimes have been solved and offending rates are at zero. Otherwise Id be thinking this is a total waste of time, energy and (our) money."
Scottish policial commentator Wings over Scotland said: "Since when were you the f****** pronouns police?"

Today is International Pronoun Day whatever that means.
Not guilty!

she has the required amount of "Flair"
I’m waiting for International Gerund Day.
FU, ESAD to that. I’ll call you what you are.
Yikes!!!!!
How much does that charge to haunt a house?
Is there no crime left in the UK that these colossal asses can concern themselves with absurdities such as this? Freaking unreal
Call people by their names. Fixed it.
Sometimes it's hard to tell. In cases like that "it" would be most fitting.
“Brian has 37 pieces of flair on. Don’t you want to express yourself?”
Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke,
Good lord! Moe Howard was doing meth!
The Flock of Seagulls singer could have cut her hair.
If she is a deputy chief constable, there are only two people who can take her to task over it, the chief constable for Cheshire (who is probably complicit in this woke bs) and the Home Secratary, who whilst being fairly down to earth herself probably has better things to do than nitpick about uniform regs.
guess not as she only has the minimum amount of flair on
