I remember this powerful stalwart man walking in a group by some Tea Party protesters with the newly handed over gable to gloat their taking the House back. “They called me a “$&@$&$” he falsely charged of those peaceful protesters.
I believe that was Emmanuel Cleaver who threw out those accusations. Nervous Nancy held the gavel with an ecstatic look on her face as she passed by the protesters.
