I appreciate the common sense in NOT saying “bad” things about “normal” people (Hitler wasn’t normal for example) who have died.
So, I won’t. But, I’m equally sickened, indeed nauseated, by politicians saying things about the recently departed that they don’t believe.
This man’s congressional district, after 20 years or so of his reign over it, and by all accounts I read, is MUCH worse off today than 20 or so years ago.
That’s his legacy. You political clowns who this morning are saying he was some sort of a great man would serve us all better by spewing platitudes like...…….”I’m sorry to hear about Elijah” and let it go at that.
Just speak the truth and imagine the extra time we save from dealing with the chaos caused by deceit!!
