His articles are shining light on Obama’s deception and why Trump made the correct decision.

They are against the PKK, YPG and SDF, which are all the same group. Not the Kurds in totality.

Hell even i knew a segment was communist even though i GREATLY was against what Trump did

Ach weel, don't beat yourself up too much, we've all been wrong before. You'll come around when you figure you are attempting to pick up a turd from the clean end, lol.

What Pres. Trump understands, and you haven't quite caught on yet, is that is is Muslims fighting Muslims. If they ain't goin' at each other, they be comin' at us, yeah? And besides, the Turks are our allies in NATO... WTF, we gonna' fight NATO now? Let's sell arms to both sides and watch. it has to happen.

If you take a longer view of this situation, it is a lot more clear. Pictures of dead babies is heartbreaking, but they are not mine, nor my friend's, nor my naton's babies. I only have so much compassion, number one, and number two, they brought it on themselves. Let them figure it out, like we did as brothers when we were boys. Sometimes there is blood. So 'fess up, Trump was right again.

The democrats voted unanimously to condemn Trump for this action. That alone should tell you he did the right thing.

That's the Cliff Notes version, which is good enough for me. Got me through, can't ask more. What happened to the Democrat party.... Hard to believe this is happening in OUR country.

Anybody who is saying “we have betrayed our Kurdish allies,” but who can’t explain the differences between the PKK, the YPG, the FSA, the Peshmerga etc etc, is just a plain fool.

PKK is communist. They are pretty much criminals. They used to have violent demonstrations in Germany back in the 80s.

>>>But why the hell are republicans siding with the Kurds? Maybe it’s true that neocons are all closet communists.

And why is the President sanctioning the Turks if the Communist Kurds are worse than ISIS?

When exactly would have been a good time to get out of Syria in your mind? Obviously ending our advertised 30 day deployment after most of a decade is too sudden for you. Would 5 more years have worked for you? I think President Trump made a mistake in not pulling out troops at the beginning of the year as he originally planned to do. There is nothing the U.S. needs in Syria.

Just like any other ethnic group (Kurds are the world’s largest ethnic group, without a country, if you don’t count the maingroups in India and China), some are more Leftist, and some are more Conservative.

Overall, the main Kurdish political parties are Left of center, but the Party we have been dealing with in Syria to fight ISIS (PYD, under an umbrella organization we formed, called SDF), is very far left - kind of cult-like, and often compared to Maoist guerrillas.

The PYD itself is essentially a front organization for the PKK, a formally designated terrorist organization, responsible for tens of thousands of Turkish deaths over several decades. PKK leadership calls the shots behind the scenes, but very openly, both parties idolize and adhere to the doctrines of Abdullah Ocalan (often called just “Apo” - “Uncle”). So it is far from a secret.

The PKK and Ocalan were Soviet clients, before the collapse of the Soviet Union. The PKK have lived for decades as austere guerrillas in the mountains (headquartered in Qandil Mountains of NW Iran). They place high importance on gender equality. They have separate male and female militaries in Syria (YPG/YPJ). They would appoint two commanders for every major operation (like the liberation of Raqqa), and require women to remain celibate while in the Service.

Political education/indoctrination sessions are a daily thing for them, and that is what they are trying to implement in the school system in the areas that they control. Although they espouse Democracy and a high degree of autonomy down at the local level (like collectives, villages and cities), in practice they don’t tolerate other political parties. They forced out representatives of the pro-US Kurdish KDP Party from Northern Iraq, and closed their offices. Some were killed, expelled or jailed.

In recent years, Ocalan (Apo), who has long been serving a sentence in Turkish prison (having been captured with US assistance), has been softening his political doctrines, in ways that might make them more acceptable to the International community of Governments. Nonetheless, many suspect that the hardened cadre of the PKK will institute an effective one Party dictatorship if given the chance, and will remain committed to eventually liberating large Kurdish areas in SouthEast Turkey.

So there has been debate over wether the re-branding and dilution of “Apoism” has been genuine and sufficient enough to be trusted running a permanent Government.

Is it propaganda that PKK was listed by many countries, including USA as a Terrorist organization?

So, we’re using American troops as mercenaries. Lovely. Why can’t Saudi raise their own fighting force? It’s a country of 35 million people. I’ve worked there. I’ve seen row after row of bunkers filled with weapons and ammo we either gave them or sold them. I’ve seen row after row of hardened hangers, each filled with F-15 Strike Eagles. Saudi is more than capable of defending itself. What Saudi lacks is the will and if you lack the will to defend your own country we have no business whatsoever doing it for them, regardless of whether they are paying or not. We do not need their oil. Truth is, we never have.

The PKK is not representative of the rest of the Kurds.

It’s a long story, but basically it goes all the way back to Nixon and Kissenger rescuing our currency when Nixon took us off the gold standard and put us on the Petro Dollar.
