To answer the question.....It was in DC right?
I swear that place has no moral compass. I lived there for a year. Coming from a college town I thought I had seen it all, but that place.....crazy.
If you have money, that’s a huge plus. Age makes little difference as long as you don’t look like “dad”. I saw more older men, with really young and very good looking women than any other big city I’ve lived or visited.
If you are a doctor or lawyer (yes I know its a cliche), that’s a plus. There are plenty of younger grad school types and “staff” who are husband hunting.
The city is full of bars, happy hour is a way of life, very “normal” - 7 days a week, and there always is a reason to go to happy hour any day of the week.
There are numerous parties and social events (with a ton of alcohol) to hook up at. To get an invite to one of these things IS cool for most younger women.
I live on a beef cattle farm in rural Florida. Not much action going on out here except between our bull and the cows. :-)
In Vegas, you see the older uncle with his niece.
In Palm Springs, you see the older Aunt with her nephew.
