This essentially reflects the Democrat desire to make churches a government entity, a state religion as it were.
Which is what’s ironic considering the Liberals are the ones always claiming the separation of church and state which does not exist in the Constitution
The only part of Scripture that the Liberals/Democrats agree with is "Thou shall have no other gods before me...ME, the State!"
