He certainly didn't know about Hunter being made Vice Chair of the Board of Amtrak, while Senator "Amtrak" Joe was procuring all manners of taxpayer dollars to shovel into the engines of the trains like so much coal.
My wife suggested that perhaps Hunter had toy trains as a kid. That might make him qualified. Perhaps there is a picture somewhere.
