Looks like they are trying to appeal it straight to the Kentucky Supreme Court vs. going through the Appeals Court. No word on whether or not they will accept it.

In that area of the state the Appeals Court judges are probably more aligned with the Beshears which is a rival faction of the Democrat party that does not like the Stumbo / Lundergan faction.

If the Kentucky Supreme Court accepts it, then it’s a done deal that Cameron will be disqualified. A similar case on Ben Chandler was heard by the appeals court and his qualification was upheld. The supremes will find a reason to say Chandler was ok, but Cameron isn’t.
