The #MeToo scandals tore a swath through the industry leaving major holes in CBS (Les Moonves, 60 Minutes exec producer Jeff Fager, Charlie Rose, Rick Najera), NBC (Matt Lauer, Tom Brokaw, Mark Halperin), NPR (Michael Oreskes, head of news, David Sweeney, chief news editor), not to mention scandals involving the head of Amazon studios, the chief creative officer for Walt Disney Animation, Bill Cosby, Paul Haggis, Morgan Freeman, Russell Simmons, Tavis Smiley, Louie C.K., Kevin Spacey, Jeffrey Tambor, James Franco, Casey Affleck, and an endless legion of other big industry names. None of that was worth a movie. The only #MeToo stories Hollywood will tell are about Republicans.

If #metoo (#meTOOL ?) is anything meaningful they should consider the exploits of those wild wild Kennedy boys. It’s
time to reevaluate our love affair with the Kennedy mystique (mistake). Never mind the Confederate statues or anything named for Gen. Lee, Jeff Davis, etc. There’s an airport in NYC, a govt center in Boston, an outdated football stadium in DC plus many roads, bridges, schools, etc that need to be renamed.
