I have never seen a campaigner like Trump, not even close, since I arrived in this great country in 1960.
He is even better than Nehru in India, who was a master at swaying the masses. Reagan was great on TV speeches but I do not remember 100 rallies in ONE campaign season and holding the audience eating out of his hand for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I attended a rally by George w. Bush in Portland, OR and he came across as a likable person, but the audience had no where the energy you see in a Trump rally. Obama is a good campaigner but again no where near 100 rallies during ONE campaign.
I have attended one Trump rally in Everett-WA, and it was almost 3 hours in line just to get inside the venue, tremendous audience energy and it broke the record of attendance for the Xfinity stadium which was 10 years old at the time in 2016. This is in a BLUE state of WA!

entropy12, I also haven't seen anyone like him, since I've been born here in 1969 (although Reagan came close), but I'll gladly defer to your extra nine years of experience! MAGA 2020!!!

True, the Democrats no there is zero chance of removing Trump (even if they had an actual legitimate reason). What they are hoping for is to "tarnish" Trump in the eyes of his supporters so that enough of them sit home on Election Day 2020 to hand his Democrat opponent a victory.
Based on the huge crowds that came out last week in Louisiana and Minnesota for his rallies, it doesn't appear this strategy is working very well.
