As a vet that served for 26 years I side with President Trump on this issue. The hyperventilating by The Swamp dwellers is telling as it is coming from both sides of the aisle.

The Neocons that want perpetual war and the dems that are just piling on because it’s President Trump.

The Kurds were not fighting with us for free and for altruistic reasons. They were being paid handsomely for their work. They were essentially mercenary contractors. Well, that contract has expired. Thanks guys! See ya!

The Kurds have been been trying for a long time to have a nation of their own. They need money to survive and fight and buy arms, but their autonomy and nationhood is the most important element to most of them. They have pockets of population in Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Iran, and I think one other country. They had semi-autonomy in northern Iraq for a time. They were betrayed by Bush 1 after Gulf War 1, when he permitted Hussein to fly helicopters over both northern Iraq and the enclave of the Marsh Arabs in southern Iraq. His son Kusay’s butchery was impressive, and weren’t 5,000 Kurds, men women, and children gassed to death?
