True, the politics of multinational Kurds are very complex. Here is another link that goes into further details about the current situation.

This piece is behind the times...not only a 1,00 troops who only had the impact of being human shields, but Syria and the Kurds have come to an agreement....what Graham calls “reliable allies” will deal with whoever they think they can profit the most from at the time....
Exactly. The DC Swamp “Lobby for Endless War” get lots of donation form Defense Contractors. Why do you think since 1991 we been bombing, or sending troops, someplace pretty much non stop with both GOP and Democrat Presidents?
Trump is trying to end the last 4 Presidents Globalist “War Always” agendas. He trying to go back to “US Interest 1st” policy of Reagan
Syria been a Russian client state since the 1950s. Your post is completely without a single shred of either fact or intellectual credibility. Just another Knee Jerk Never Trumper in hysterics because Trump did something. If he had sent more troops your ignorant clowns would be in hysterics about that.
Please explain to us what vita US National Security interest is involved in spending US Blood and Treasure providing a US Military sheild to the Kurds while they attack the internationally recoginized governments of Iran-Iraq and Turkey?
No your problem is you read the NY Time and think it is a credible source of news instead of the mindless DC Swamp propaganda it actually is.
What vital national interests is served proving the Kurds with a US military shield to hide behind while they wage separatist attacks on the internationally recognized governments of Turkey, Iraq and Iran?
Are we supposedly under some obligation now to send US Troops everywhere some minority is oppressed by the local Government?
In that case, The DC Swamp clowns, better get busy appropriating funds because we will be sending troops pretty much everywhere in the world except Europe and Australia.
“”” Cheney, who is weighing a 2020 Senate bid “””
and who’s stock portfolio reads like a who’s who of the military industrial complex
There are several different groups of Kurds with different leadership. There were two main groups in Iraq and I think we ended up working more with one than the other. The Kurds in Turkey have their own agenda and are not controlled by either Iraqi group of Kurds. I’m sure it is all even more complicated than what I am saying here.
As far as Republicans go though, its a blessing that the Democrats are doing such a fine job destroying themselves without any help from the Republicans, lol.
