the Dems don’t want a vote for three reasons:
1. it gives the Pubs the right to subpoena witnesses
2. it puts ALL Dem House members permanently on the record whether they support impeachment or don’t support impeachment or waffle on impeachement
3. the vote might actually fail if enough House Dems won’t for it ..
I do agree that Pelosi doesn’t want to give Republicans to power to subpoena witnesses like Hunter and Joe Biden. Democrats may eventually do an impeachment inquiry vote but only if they can vote for impeachment before the Republicans have a chance to subpoena Hunter Biden.
