Somebody posted a line earlier tonite that the Edwards camp was confidently projecting an outright victory at 52 percent. Maybe they underestimated the Trump effect on turnout.

I think they were arrogant and overconfident. Dem turnout was low across the board tonight.
Democrats lost their one Deep South governorship. Gone.
