The Rs outnuber the Ds tremendously - only to split the R vote. Oy.
FL - 14
LSU - 21
30 minutes in and 22 parishes have yet to report absentee results.
FUNNY!
FUNNY?
I believe Orleans Parish, which is New Orleans and about 80 percent Dem, traditionally reports last.
I’m going to say this one more time (no offense):
all that needs to happen tonight is the Democrat Edwards to be below 50%. that will force a runoff between him and whoever the leading Republican winds up being. if you read Trump’s tweets that was all that he was hoping for tonight and that’s why he went to Louisiana.
Once we get to a run off the Republican should beat Edwards.
So again please no doom and gloom here on this thread, as long as the Democrat Governor Edwards remains under 50% tonight it’s a victory
Keeping pounding it into some rather thick skulls until they get it...
I understand - you don’t need to explain it, and there’s no doom and gloom from my point of view.
Oh, I realize that. And, kudos to any conservative who puts themselves out there to run. But, I’ve seen the vote split, to the detriment of the conservatives due to egos so many times, it just baffles me that they do not get organized and get behind and support one person. Hopefully, though this will be enough to take all the “he is one of us” votes away from Edwards.
Democrats are not only math challenged people.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can I guess why?
Democrats attack the Republican challenger. Having two challengers reduces chance of false accusations taking both out.
The same thing happens in Virginia with Norfolk and Fairfax County. Bob Beckel on Fox News one time said that he used to work the polls in Fairfax County and the Dem election types would hold the result until they saw how many they needed.
The absentee vote (I assume this is the early vote) just came in from Orleans Parish (New Orleans). It went 89 percent for Edwards and pushed him up to 47 percent.
Dem got a large bump up now at 47%
High water mark.
Chicago, Indianapolis most large cities do the same. Thats why they sometimes have over 100% of their registered voters vote. ( Thats the rationale Indiana used to get their voter ID law passed)
That is a good point. At this time, may I suggest, that those of us with a realization of God’s power,....let us all pray.
So far so good. The stuffed early ballots from Nawlins are in, Edwards still under 50%.
Hard to beat an incumbent, this won’t be easy. Repubs winning all down ballots big.
