A very bad epidemic of Clintonitis has apparently been raging through El Paso for several years.
In 2001 this federal judge’s younger sister, Dolores Briones, ran for County Judge against a local businessman (D turned R) and won when he was killed when hit from behind by a car while bicycling on some sort of recumbent bicycle.
The deceased’s name was Pat O’Rourke, father of ..........
Robert “Beto” O’Rourke.

The name of the El Paso County Clerk is Delia Briones....but I have been unable to find any information about family relationships so it is possible that her last name is just a coincidence.
