Is he the first whistleblower or the second? Supposedly, the first had second hand knowledge and the second had firsthand knowledge.
McMaster was a disaster (hey that rhymes) from day one. Not surprised that he made a blantantly partisan hack his aide and let him leak damaging info all over the place. Probably told him to do it. In the unlikely event that I am ever President (hey, could happen) I will never appoint a general to any position of power, Trump appointed a bunch and they all turned out to be opposition stooges.
Because generals at that level are as or more political than senators.
How else do they get those high positions?
Voters don’t vote them in so it has to be due to the art of ass kissing.
Well then, now that we know who it is we can drop this sham that he needs submit his answers in writing for his safety and to protect his identity. What a crock.
If it’s Ciaramella, it certainly looks like he had a “chip on his shoulder” regarding President Trump.

“All of the whistleblower protection laws I am familiar with will protect a whistleblower from punishment, sanctions or retribution for coming forward but do not guarantee anonymity. “
Nor does it guarantee immunity from prosecution if the whistle blower was involved in a crime which produced his statement.
I wouldn’t have minded if the Generals were kissing the President’s ass. Instead they were stabbing him in the back. Very dishonorable to take a job with the intention of undermining the boss, and that’s what they did. I’m sure they justify it as “serving the interests of the nation” or some other high minded nonsense but if I they thought he was unfit than refuse the job offer and go work against him openly. But lying and leaking and breaking faith is not acceptable. I had a lot of respect for all of them, McMasters, Mattis, Kelly but no more.

I just hope and pray that President Trump will clean the White House out in his second term as well as all government departments of holdovers from previous administrations. I sometimes think that he hasn’t got a friend up there that he can depend on and it will be a big job separating the pros from the cons.....tsk,tsk
I believe you missed my point.
My point is that the generals to which you refer became generals under the very people who are the major swamp monsters today.
Therefore they are themselves swamp monsters.
