Just out of curiosity, I looked it up. You cannot even carry pepper spray to defend yourself in the UK. The only approved defensive device is a whistle. I wonder if those victims were carrying whistles.
Only problem with whistles is, if the jihadist, I mean refugee, stabs you in the chest and manages to collapse a lung, how are you going to blow the whistle?
