As many as five people were stabbed Friday morning inside a Starbucks in the northern English city of Manchester – and counter-terrorism police launched an investigation after a suspect was caught, according to reports.
“We are currently responding to an incident at the Arndale Shopping Centre in Manchester City Centre,” a Greater Manchester police spokesman said, according to the Telegraph.
“A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of serious assault. He has been taken to custody for questioning,” he added.

So, if someone had clobbered him with a chair or stool (just like in an old-school bar fight from a western movie), that would have been illegal use of a weapon?
Since most all knife attacks in England were by Muslim “migrants” I’d bet people are right to jump to that conclusion. A lot of times European governmeents try to down play attacks they knew were terrorist actions. When Muslims invade a country the first thing they do is create doubt in the present government...just like they are doing in the USA.

I guess it would be okay if someone had threatened him with a chair or stool. But “clobbered”? That would be using excessive force, for sure.

Interesting. Must be lighting or something, but the color of his face here looks considerably darker than the color of his exposed lower leg in post 6 above. Heck, his leg in post 6 looks to be as white as the two officers in the pic.
Write to the British Embassy in Washington and inform them that you can never visit the UK since it has become nonfree and unsafe. Emphasize that you do not wish to become an unarmed victim who can be arrested for criticizing Islam.
