If, after the days-long backtracking by the NBA over Houston Rocket GM Daryl Morey's deleted tweet supporting protesters in Hong Kong, you feel like American companies are looking pathetic in China, it's because you're right. They are.
American companies have been allowing China to pull their strings for years, and as the country becomes more bellicose, this private matter is starting to spill into public view.

Wow. Like who had had, America's presses tongues?

For what its worth, Id like to see the Chinese government forced to explain to their people why theyre not allowed to watch NBA anymore.
The very idea that the NBA is “standing up for American values” is laughably preposterous. Like every other professional sport in this country (with the sole exception of the NHL) the NBA is in the grip of the malign influence of their “woke” SJW black players, as much as, and likely more so, than the NFL. It is sweet justice to see the NBA suffer financially as they tried to recover their losses in the USA caused by their giving the middle finger to their largely white fan base by shilling their swill to the Chinese.
Rush Limbaugh recently played an audio clip from an NBA player talking about spreading American values in China. And in the next breath the player talks about having to accept Chinese censorship.
They’ll virtue signal over gay rights and women’s empowerment, but they’ll sell out over something as basic as human rights and democracy. Shows how much integrity these corps really have when it comes to values.
DJT should make it illegal to support foreign interests like this.
American corporations should support American values, not Russian or Chinese or Israeli ones.

Anyone who asks for the explanation hears it on the train to the re-education camp.
If our leftist media is so sympathetic to the Chicoms, then it would be nice if they took the NBA off our stations as well.
Great point.
:)
Nothing new. Disney and Comcast have been aggressively attacking our liberties here at home.
This makes President Trump look that much better. He is the only one in the world outside Hong Kong who stands up to the ChiComs.
