This only indicates that the ‘whistleblower’ is having second thoughts, and wishes to not testify, and is even wishing to withdraw his complaint. He (or she) is scared stiff about what could happen to him/her is everything turns sour with his/her testimony.
This person does not want anything more to do with this phony impeachment stunt. He or she is wanting out, and therefore wants his/her identity unknown.
