Born on Celtic ground in Brittany, the original Oui dram is also the most awarded French Single Malt in the US.
They produce cognac and bourbon, which haven’t been hit with tarriffs. The only motivation I can think of is that this is a way of persuading Britain to make a clean break with the EU and not trying to stay in the customs union or single market.
