Recycling plastic uses up a lot of resources, and after all the hauling around, sorting, and processing of bottles and containers, it often ends up getting thrown away or burned.
MIT business researcher Andrew McAfee says we'd be better off putting our plastic waste into well-managed landfills.
He argues we should spend our "mental budget for thinking about the Earth on more high-impact changes," like carbon taxes on major polluters and nuclear energy.

I had severe psoriasis-like eczema on my face for many years.
I used “Packers Pine Tar Soap” on my face and scalp; and the hair with the scalp. It’s a coal-black bar of soap with pine tar as it’s active ingredient.
Pine or coal tar is the active in the Neutrogena dandruff shampoo.
Packers helped with my ruff red skin.
I still use the Neutrogena dandruff shampoo in the shower and sometimes wash my face with it as well.
The age is not remembered: OTC drugs and children. Finding a bar of Ex-Lax, this child consumed the entire bit, thinking it was chocolate. No punishment from parents. Inflicted entirely too much of my own. However, the lesson learned and the adventure was never repeated.
