RE: In my opinion, there’s a big difference in “urged” and “should”...

HERE IS WHAT TRUMP ACTUALLY SAID:

“...the other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that, so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me.”

*THAT* was the only mention of Biden in the entire conversation.

NOW, compare what was said to what the Whistleblower said in his memo:

” The President urged Zelenskyy to [end page 1] investigate the Bidens and stated that Giuliani would discuss this topic further with Zelenskyy during his trip to Kyiv.”

BTW, if you read CBS’ copy of the memo, I am still scratching my head trying to figure out what the heck is impeachable EVEN IN THE MEMO. Can anyone tell me where in his memo anything amounts to high crimes and misdemeanor?

It sounds to me that Trump’s “impeachable” offense was an impromptu request to look into already-circulating rumors that Biden and/or his son might have improperly benefitted from Biden’s official position as the then-Vice-President. If this is a criminal act by Trump, weren’t the Dems’ efforts to work with foreign sources (possibly including Russia/Ukraine/England/Italy/Australia) to find dirt on Trump also criminal?
