Last I heard, they were going to build "brand new" DeLoreans from the parts.
On a trip to SoCal back in the mid-80’s, when I had that green stuff with dead Presidents on it, I had my pic taken next to a BTTF DeLorean at Universal Studios. Still have the pic.
Must have been the mid-80’s. Because, one day, in the late 1980’s (when I returned to college) I was changing from one freeway to another when, to my astonishment, a BTTF DeLorean passes me on the left (I was entering that freeway from the right). I couldn’t believe it but there it was.
Would that be legal, to build brand new cars with 80’s safety standards?
I mean, I’d love to own one, but I’m certain the libs would cry foul.
