Is that what they say we owe, or what we say we owe?

But ... but ... I was just reading about UN Month in NYC where all the top end, really expensive restaurants were crammed to the gils with international ‘visitors’ whooping it up on US $. I guess I’m ok if they trim that budget just a bit.

Hold on to the purse strings, Mr. President.
Monies given to the UN are no different than paying extortion demands - and yet the US STILL must endure the frequent attacks in the gang’s attempting to close our doors.
The times, thy are a’changing.
SHUT THEM DOWN!

As I posted on another thread. We may be delinquent on discretionary contributions for discretionary projects. The discretionary project is for Palestine refugee program started in 1948

If the UN shut down, would anyone notice?
What have they ever done to justify their existence?

Shut it down. Turn it into something useful, such as a homeless shelter.

The U.S. owes $381 million in back payments and $674 million for 2019. Of the $1.3 billion owed to the U.N. by member states, the U.S. is responsible for more than $1 billion. This is something that I have never understood. How is it that the USA owes the UN anything at all? I remember Bill Clinton saying that we owe the UN back dues.
It made no sense to me then, and it makes no sense now.
The UN is made up of primarily communist and socialist countries who have done nothing for the citizens of the USA.

LOL....looks like our President is proving his point about U.S. funding of the U.N. Partys over little piggies at the trough.

So we are delinquent in paying money... to bums and beggars, who produce nothing, but only consume.

Best news we could hear for the US taxpayers. Let them go broke - who on earth cares except the swindlers from the third world countries? End their gravy train and send them packing! Make the UN building in NYC into apartments for the homeless!
