Exactly! It’s the Yurps’ problem, not ours. We’re getting very close to energy independence (at least with the oil we buy from Canada and Mexico). We don’t really need the Middle East anymore.
The Yurps sure do though. So does China. Let them go in there and clean up the messes. They’re the ones who desperately need the oil and gas - not us.
Absolutely, same here. Or let these tribes just do what they have always done, trying to change this has always been fruitless. They always bite the hand that tries to feed them.
The US doesn’t need Middle East oil. Europe does. Let them provide the troops and funding.
We still need to bomb Iran. Once they have nuclear weapons they will use them.
