All they have left to salvage is to be able to say, “He was impeached and that means he’s a baaaaad man - even if it was all a sham (we learned that from Dan Rather - even made up crap can be called the truth if you wish it hard enough and click your heels together while chanting “Waaaah! I want him gone!”)

I'm seeing the same thing - off and on the internet. This House skullduggery reeks and everybody knows it. I keep seeing posts around here that they're going through all this to "fire up" their "rabid base" for the elections - well that's been a colossal FAIL if that's the case, have seen no evidence in support of that. None. Matter of fact people have been recoiling from it. People are fundamentally uneasy with Soviet-style secret committee BS, gives them the creepies. Add to that the DemCom presidential candidate field is a mess - I've seen no enthusiasm or excitement to speak of. Not a great time to be a lefty right now.

Agreed... I can't get my lib neighbors to even say who they support.

They would ALL jump back behind Hillary if she gets back in. (Which, I think she is..) They think she got cheated by Trump and the Russians.
