Steve Hayes and conservative don’t go together.
They’d rather have the Democrats win than conservatives.
They all sure do miss their old gig as “respectable” conservatives. Funny thing is their old audience does not respect them and they can’t quite get the routine down for CNN
As Laura Ingraham says of Mitt Romney: ‘Who is his constituency exactly?’
NR have been attempting to walk a tightrope after their never Trump groupthink nonsense - now two never Trumpers want to start a competing site?
Hayes used to be able to connect dots when 99% of the rest of the media were doing an Obama-loving blackout of news. Now he acts like Chris Hayes.
Jonah admitted long ago that he had a personal axe to grind with Trump and I GUESS you could say he’s consistent so far but like so many writers who achieve a certain amount of popular appeal he turned it all into a personal psychodrama. Anyone who disagreed with him was a troll...anyone who asked him to compare scenarios, results, etc. was engaging in ‘whataboutism’ according to Jonah - it was his way of sticking fingers in ears and shouting loudly to avoid debate.
And so we have another NR even as the NR ships water. What a business plan.
Steve Hayes and conservative dont go together.
I wasn’t familiar with Hayes before 2016. He appeared on Fox before a POTUS debate and I genuinely thought he was a Democrat the way he disparaged President Trump.
Neither does Jonah Goldberg - a devout Never-Trumper
The same can be said of Goldberg - a Never Trumper from the start.
Unless and until the crew there becomes a staff which includes John Solomon, believe a pass on the starting range of $1500 to join will be passed on by.
$1500.00 today doesn’t seem to buy what it once did.
