Stories like this give me encouragement that the pendulum is finally swinging back toward the sane side of absurdity. We have a long way to go, but this is encouraging.

I absolutely agree that stories like this are encouraging. However if you look at our global trend, this is a mere bump in the road to Armageddon. The way Jesus puts it, by the time he comes back, it will be exactly like the days of Noah, and the days of Sodom and Gamorrah...
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

We need ti to swing back nationally- many states ban ‘conversion therapy’ or even counseling for such cases- which undermines the parent’s rights to raise their kids as they deem fit to do-
