The impeachment story begins in the heart of the Washington swamp. House Democrat Adam Schiff and his intelligence committee staff cooked up a carefully crafted “whistleblower” complaint with an anonymous CIA bureaucrat. In a gossipy document full of inaccuracies, the anonymous CIA guy alleged that, during a call with Ukraine’s newly elected President Volodymyr Zelensky, President Trump threatened military aid to Ukraine unless its government investigated Joe Biden.

Why was Trump talking to Zelensky about Biden? Starting in 2014, Biden’s son Hunter made about $50,000 a month acting as a director for a Ukrainian gas company, Burisma. Hunter locked in this huge salary, not to mention work directed to his law firm, despite being recently kicked out of the military for using cocaine and having no energy industry experience. At the time, Joe Biden was a key Obama administration emissary in dealing with Ukraine.

Acceptable only because the Intelligence Community Inspector General altered the rules just before this alleged “Whistle blower” event. Prior to THIS whistle blower first hand knowledge was the only acceptable complaint.

The Whistleblower Claimed to have direct knowledge and the IG agreed.

Also, First hand knowledge was a requirement on the form. The current IC IG decided that it was improperly included on the form because the underlying statute didn’t require first hand knowledge.

Hunter Biden’s name appears on a list of directors of a state-backed equity fund in China, the South China Morning Post reported today (link at web site).
President Trump called on China to investigate the activities of former VP Biden and his family in the country.
Hunter is the son of the elder Biden, a top candidate for the Democratic Party and possible Trump opponent in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

Hunter Biden is listed as a director of BHR Equity Investment Fund Management, whose indirect shareholders include the government-controlled Bank of China, the South China Morning Post reported. He paid about $420,000 for a 10% stake in October 2017, the New York Times has reported, according to the SCMP report.

Apparently, this is what we have:

1) The second hand witness rules were already acceptable ( in place ).

2. The existing May 2018 forms did not have this rule in place.

3. The IC IG thus, adjusted the forms to reflect the pre-existing rules that allowed second hand witnesses.

Hence, there was no malice on the IC IG’s part ( His name is Michael Atkinson ).

Look, I have NO INTEREST in defending Atkinson whatsoever. I am simply presenting his version of the story. I am as interested in getting at the truth as you.

From what I read elsewhere, what was changed was that second-hand witnesses were not enough to give the whistleblower report "urgent" treatment; only first-hand witnesses were given urgent treatment. This was changed to allow second-hand witnesses the same urgency as first-hand witnesses.

This was probably done to allow the second-hand complaint to be forwarded to Schiff's committee sooner.

No, wrong. The form was shown to us all on FBN, and OANN. I can only go by the information I saw, or I’d have to spend the day looking it up, and by now I’m certain the information we saw on T.V. a few days ago, certainly last week has been shuffled off to obscurity, and difficult to find by leftist techies controlling that which we see, and hear, thus think.

Adjusted the forms just in time for this “whistle blower” event. How coincidental is that? Then too Schiff, and friends worked with the alleged “whistle blower” to concoct the complaint.

No, no. It was ALWAYS acceptable was the claim. The rules were not changed. The forms for the WB to fill up were adjusted to reflect pre-existing rules.
