Not Presidential whatsoever - and sure to turn off a large number of (needed) voters who are going to think he’s finally gone off his rocker.
I voted for him and will again, but he really needs to start thinking before he tweets such incredibly boneheaded things (yes, this is boneheaded - even if meant in jest). He’s the President, for God’s sake and you don’t even THINK, let alone SAY, that you (apparently single-handedly given his reference to “I”) will “destroy” the economy of another country. Good grief!. The media and other political enemies are already ripping him to ribbons and have been for nearly 3 years now - he doesn’t need to give them even more gasoline to throw on the fire.
God help us with what’s sure to come on this one via Saturday Night Live, the late night talkshows, the media, etc, etc, etc. This is going to make a dent with a lot of voters beyond the cozy confines of FR where he can apparently do no wrong. He needs to get it together.
PS: before anyone flames me..just keeping it real. I’m a long time poster and registered Republican. But I expect our President to ACT Presidential also, and trying to excuse behavior like this by saying he’s just fighting doesn’t cut it when it’s this far over the line wacky.
