Serious, you don’t know what PKK means?
DOES ANYBODY ELSE ON THIS THREAD KNOW WHAT IT MEANS?
Why put it in a post if nobody can read it or understand it?
One more point, thanks for putting up with me....it IS okay to use a made up abbreviation. But there is a technique.
Let’s say you are writing a post about the SYmbionese Libertion Army. I made that up let us assert. Now that is a very long phrase and if you plan to mention it a bit, write it out in full first, then put the temporary abbreviation right after in parenthesis.
Like this....
“It appears the Symbionese Libertion Army (SLA) is getting ready to attack. The SLA has been viewed practicing marksmanship.....”
And I still don’t know what PKK means.

IIRC it’s the abbreviation in Kurdish, for the Kurdish political party.

Opened a page for search, typed in PKK, found:
“The Kurdistan Workers’ Party or PKK is a Kurdish far-left militant and political organization based in Turkey and Iraq.“
Took 11 seconds.
