Any person or entity that has been deliberately misled and misused would be hell bent to seek retribution and punishment. But the FISA Court is virtually silent, giving the strong impression that (1) they are OK with what went on and/or (2) they themselves have something to hide.

As they say, silence is consent.

Like they say, after him, US.

Pence would be next. Make no mistake about it, the Left has plans for him too.

A President has the right and responsibility to keep all of his personal records private.

Exactly what I thought as I was reading this. It’s not legal for Trump, or a Republican to pay someone for non disclosure with their own money, but it is legal to steal taxpayer money to pay for it, if you are a democrat? I guess so , since it is a crime for a Republican to ask foreign countries for assistance in investigating crimes if those crimes are committed by democrats. We are overdue a civil war, IMHO.

I believe part of the goal is to get information on those he has done business with to intimidate them.

Bingo. Think Flynn, Manafort...

I haven’t seen this thought BUT shouldn’t Pelosi recuse herself from all impeachment activities since she has a vested interest ?? That is the potential to become president.

The New York prosecutors would need some level of evidence that the tax returns would provide needed information. Without such a hurdle they could indiscriminately ask for anyone’s tax returns.

Maybe the outcome of the appeal hangs on whether the appeals court thinks the New York prosecutors really need the returns.

That is a fuzzy issue.

That is definitely a conflict of interest.

I’m surprised that nobody has mentioned it yet because you are the first one that I’ve seen mention it.

because Trump is one of the only decent men left.

Let's don't go too far... would you want him marrying your daughter? I didn't think so..

He's the best we've got, but he's not a pillar of moral fiber...

No, there won’t be any tax returns. They won’t return any of your money. They’ll just find ways to take more of it.

Of course I would want Trump marrying my daughter.

I can’t think of a dumber question ever being asked of me.

Of course, the only thing dumber than your question was the answer you provided.

Get out of here, you offend me.

Sounds like Drudge is cashing in, ala David Brock.

The Left knows how to pay off its footsoldiers.

There are Internet rumors from whistleblowers that U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero, a Rapin Bill Clinton appointee, took secret trips on the Lolita Express to the Jepstein rape island.

Marrero HAD to rule this way, or his rumored pedophile activites would be exposed.

Some also say that U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero is a supporter of the "Pedos Against Trump 2020" organization.

This has nothing to do with how he made payments to people. It’s about being told to go away. There was no impropriety to a crime determined no matter if he did pay them to shut up. He has enough private money of his own to do that many times over.

Tax returns are not public record; they are private. Tax returns contain confidential information that is not readily available to the public. With the increasing number of online tax filing services, some information is being used and sold publicly, but that is not advocated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

So, the democratic congress is throwing something against the wall to create an appearance of impropriety to dirty the air, not solve a non-existent crime. They are really cheap doing this. And losing credibility rapidly.

you know... i seem to remember 0bama made a national decree that every record pertaining to myself and michael was sealed and beyond reproach.

we had courts fighting to keep his birth certificate from getting out.

now we have courts fighting to put TAX RETURNS into public view (so his enemies can pick it apart and attack every associated organization)

talk about obvious double standards

He may have a legitimate law enforcement purpose (doubtful)

He has a purpose, State charges cannot be pardoned by a President. They are leveraging the possibility of jail after he leaves office by the State of New York. Probably threatening his family the same way.

Some of you have nailed it as it pertains to the silence of the FISA Courts. They probably have stepped on our rights for many years and are guilty as hell.

The FISA "Courts" are nothing but an official star chamber run by deep state.
