I hope you’re right. I hope this era of Hollyweird will be known as the dark days of Hollywood when they listened to the wrong people and had bad writers spewing woke BS.
In this movie they tried to ruin it by turning the good guys in our history into bad buys because they fought against the British, were white guys, (fill in the blank).
To the commiecrats being patriotic is bad and an empty gesture.
I’ve learned to ignore the woke crap in so many movies and tv shows. I don’t let them trigger me. I don’t allow them that kind of power.
It’s not just “white guys”, as the bus driver in the opening of the film is not only a woman, but obviously not “white”.
Among the troubling aspects of this film is how well it is made: The cinematography, acting and writing are award-winning. They took no shortcuts save for the limited CGI.
This is no B-rate film: This is a first-class assault on the foundations of this country and its supporters (patriots). I believe that netflix went all in with a purpose, given the unmistakable nature of this film.
