First, well lesson learned. Some of those vanity people do go on to bigger and greater things.
But not to argue with you. You have a point although you are curmudgeonly many times when you make it.
Now for my big complaint, my complaint, my complaint, using your post that I may be mentored by a true curmudgeon.
PEOPLE THAT USE ABBREVIATIONS NOBODY UNDERSTANDS!!!
This is TA and as I read a nice post then CU an abbreviation that makes no sense to me, I realized IWMT or else I am a bit dumb.
Yes, this is the internet and abbreviations are a way of life. Everybody knows LOL....but if a poster is writing of a subject and wants to abbreviate it, in the FIRST instance he should write it out, put his intended abbreviation in parenthesis right after then use it.

Totally agree. I hate when people say b/c instead of simply typing out because which my phone suggests the entire word for me after typing just one letter. Such laziness to save actually typing 4 characters. Also people who say 2 instead of to or too and 4 instead of for. It isn’t that hard to type real words. And it helps protect the integrity of our language.
