At church here in TN sometimes we hear “Boy howdy!” from the Amen Corner. (I love the south!)
Thanks rktman.
the Kings and emperorrs also claim to be decendents of solomon and bethsheba. With the last one Ras Tafari Haile Selassie.
Amen to her powerful and truly heartfelt prayer.
I love that pic.
Thank you so much for posting.
After growing up with the images of emaciated Ethiopian kids I was surprised when I started meeting a number of Ethiopians just how attractive they are on average. Certain ethnic groups are unequally blessed with beautiful people and the Ethiopians seem to be one.
I have taught many students from the Horn of Africa, Ethiopian, Eritrean, Somali, Sudanese. The Christian community from those countries is unique, original, and blessed.
Yep, The Beta Israel are possibly one of the lost tribes.
Because it was a clear and obvious insertion to the inspired text.
Beautiful. Thank you for posting this.

Nice. Thanks for posting...
“What do you feel was the reason for omitting verse 37?”
___________________________________________________________
The verse in question: Acts 8,v.37:
“37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

The answer is not a matter of what I feel.
It is a matter of history.
This verse, -along with many others- is only to be found in the King James Authorized Version (KJV) Bible. It has to do with baptism. Others, removed in other texts, (Such as the NIV, NKJV, ESV, RSV, ASV, NAS, and many others) have to do with the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, the Trinity, and salvation. Satan has, for many years, been supplying and promoting neutered copies of the Word of God, which dull the Sword of the Lord to that of butter knives.
If more information on this is desired, here are some places to begin:

Yes. The KJAV has this verse. Most others, no, or only footnoted.
Also, in most other bibles since 1881, many other words, texts, and verses are changed or missing.
