I miss the America of mostly the 70s and pretty much all the 80s.
Until last month I hadn’t flown SW for several years. I was “deeply saddened” by the employees (by SW or a contractor — not sure) at the SW gates to assist travelers. Was I in the Twilight Zone or Mosul? Rude middle-eastern people, looking down on us, and not helpful. Never again w/SWA.

Those were called stewardesses, long before the PC label flight attendant.
Either they don’t know that if they went pro-Trump, their business would probably not suffer or they just don’t care.
She was offended but she acted in an unprofessional manner. If, God forbid, the Trump supporter had need care or an emergency had happened, would this crew member have provided care? Sounds like the answer was no. Fire the person. Set an example.

I am thinking that the passenger should get say a dozen free flights and they take the cost from her pay.
A reminder that she is a hired servent to the passenges.
She may become the boss in an emergency, but untill then she is a servent.
Screw Southwest. I used to fly them a lot and the people were polite even if the plane was a clown car. As soon as Trump was elected almost every flight attendant became an asshole. No more SW!

And her wages come from all passengers that are flying. Show him/her what it would be like to go a week without that pay - suspend him/her/it.
