If a cabinet level official has trouble with the calendar he should be canned on general principles. Festivus doesn't even come until Dec 23rd this year. This kind of blatant commercialization of the celebration is what drove us away from traditional venues in the first place.
A true believer will also make himself available for the "Feats of Strength" celebration where retribution for offending during the Airing of Grievances is settled.
