The mass shootings won’t happen until the worm has fully turned against democrats. Then the mass shootings start again (notice it’s been kind of quiet lately?), and we’re back to rantings about gun control.
The Schiff gambit raises the question....... is there really a whistle blower.

The republicans have no power and no leverage in the sham show that the democrats are conducting. This is why Trump is pushing for an official house vote. When the house actually votes for impeachment hearings then the republicans can force Schiff and others to testify. As it stands, the democrats are trying to put the American people under the illusion of there being an impeachment , without giving the defense any ability to cross examine witnesses or call witnesses. It is a sham.

Anyone can criticize Trey and that’s fine. But he’s not a prosecutor because he held any congressional hearing.

You and numerous others have expressed distain for
Gowdy, Nunes, and others for not being able to nail
jello to the wall. The reality is the committee
warriors can only take things so far. The GOP leadership
has the final say-so. In the case of Gowdy a lot of
that time the GOP leadership consisted of Sir
Milquetoast Paul Ryan or John Boehner. Gowdy et al
not only couldn’t get efforts past the GOP leadership
but they were also forbidden to publicly complain
about it. I think the resulting frustration helped
drive Gowdy out of Congress.

You’re not going to win that argument. There are too many SUPERIOR Freepers who believe they would have gotten results for their efforts as ONE MAN SHOWS. That’s what they’ve expected from every single GOP member on ANY committee (majority or not) who showed guts and why they have always disparaged them - and they’ll continue to do so. They don’t acknowledge that he had a successful career BEFORE he ever went to Congress. Probably due to the fact that he had others working WITH him and not AGAINST him.
But these complainers could do better! Too bad we aren’t allowed to see their accomplishments!
I’m not trying to win an argument. Im just stating
things as I see them. If one or 100 FReepers have
an “a-ha” moment then that’s nice. If nobody agrees
than so be it. Cyber ink is cheap.
Ever occur to you that guys like Gowdy leave office
because the GOP leadership prevents them from
taking the next step and then forbids them from
complaining about it? Ever heard of Boehner? Ryan?
Just because what we want to happen doesn’t happen
doesn’t mean that the guys in the trenches didn’t try.
