There is no impeachment inquiry. There are no subpoenas.
You are not to be faulted if you think a formal inquest is under way and that legal process has been issued. The misimpression is completely understandable if you have been taking in media coverage — in particular, reporting on a haughty Sept. 27 letter from House Democrats, presuming to direct Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on pain of citation for obstruction, to cooperate in their demands to depose State Department officials and review various records.
The letter is signed by not one but three committee chairmen. Remember your elementary math, though: Zero is still zero even when multiplied by three.
What is portrayed as an “impeachment inquiry” is actually just a made-for-cable-TV political soap opera. The House of Representatives is not conducting a formal impeachment inquiry. To the contrary, congressional Democrats are conducting the 2020 political campaign.

However, thru time, we’ve all seen this murderous, wicked witch in action. Until this evil creature assumes room temperature, I would put nothing past it...NOTHING.
That is,in my opinion, a very wise decision, My FRiend. I too put nothing that is evil past her. And always plan for the worse when it concerns her. How can this be a legitimate Impeachment Inquiry?
The past Impeachment Inquiries were done BECAUSE the FULL House of Representatives VOTED to have the inquiry.
This particular one was decided on by a panel of Democrats WITHOUT the participation of Republicans. They know they could do this without consequences because the mainstream press had their backs covered and won’t make this an issue.
In other words, precedent was ignored, the people’s representatives were by-passed.
Why did they not have the FULL House of Representatives vote? What are they afraid of?
The PIAPS still can swoop in and get into the race in December.
You know as well as I do, that she is still beyond lusting for that position. It’s hers, she’s claimed it and anyone who denies her, her “rightful” place as President is a hater/bigot/sexist/deplorable, etc.
